The National Human Rights Commission has issued a notice to Kerala government, seeking its report over the arrest of two Dalit women for allegedly attacking a CPM worker in Thalassery in Kannur district last month.

Amid a raging row over registering of a case against two Dalit sisters and sending them to jail for allegedly attacking a CPI(M) activist in Kannur, Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on Monday said there was no need to react to the issue.
