A hoarding insinuating that opposition leaders Rahul Gandhi and Akhilesh Yadav were taking directions from "terrorists" to seek a ban on the controversial film 'The Kerala Story' came up near Lucknow University here on Wednesday.

The court directed the Local Self Government Department's Principal Secretary and the state police chief to respond by Friday afternoon on how the "illegal installations have been put up and why they have not been removed".

Kerala will soon enact a new law to ban the use of flex and plastics for making publicity material, Chief Minister Oommen Chandy said today.
