Kerala Priest Rescued

Father Tom Uzhannalil, who was held captive by ISIS for over a year before his rescue earlier this month, arrived in Delhi today and met Prime Minister Narendra Modi and External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj.

A priest from Kerala who was kidnapped in Yemen last year has been rescued, Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj tweeted this afternoon.

External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj today said that Indian priest Father Tom Uzhunnalil, missing in Yemen since early this month, has been abducted by a terror group and the government is making all efforts to rescue him.
