Kidnapping Of A Swiss Woman

Al-Qaeda's north Africa affiliate has claimed the kidnapping of a Swiss woman in Mali's Timbuktu in a video seen by AFP on Wednesday, as Switzerland demanded her unconditional release.

Private Mauritanian news agency Al-Akhbar said Tuesday that it has received a video purportedly from the Al Qaeda-linked Emirate of the Sahara group claiming responsibility for this month's kidnapping of Swiss woman Beatrice Stockly in Mali.
