Union Health Minister J.P. Nadda on Friday launched a number of e-health initiatives, including 'Kilkari' that will provide information on child care through mobile phone.

Union Health Minister J P Nadda said that these are part of the government's Digital India programme and are in line with the commitment to prioritise public health.

The Centre today launched four IT-based health care initiatives including an audio-based mobile service which will deliver weekly messages to families about pregnancy and child birth, an IT-enabled tool to help quit tobacco, and a dedicated helpline for Tuberculosis patients.
