Kochi Bomb Hoax

A reported bomb threat on a Delhi-bound Air India plane from Kochi, with 164 people on board, which landed under emergency conditions at the airport in Banglore, was a hoax, police said today.

Police have arrested a 40-year-old man in Kochi for making an anonymous telephone call saying that a bomb had been planted at the nearby Nedumbassery airport on Tuesday morning, which later turned out to be hoax.
