The IIM Kozhikode placement season attracted offers from 122 recruiters for 541 students from three full-time PGP programmes, comprising 47 per cent women candidates and 45 per cent non-engineering candidates.

According to IIM, the current batch with 127 participants from several prominent global and Indian corporations, has an average work experience of 9 years with around 20 per cent female candidates. The cohort also has 4 international participants this time.

The average salary secured by the students stood at INR 29.5 LPA, an increase of 31.3% over last year, while the median salary secured is INR 26.50 LPA, an increase of 32.5% over last year.

Brushing aside the uncertainties and disruptions caused by the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Kozhikode, is all set to welcome the students to its opening of academic session for the year 2020.

IIM Kozhikode witnessed 100% placements in 5 days for the 413 students participating in the placements process with offers being rolled out by 131 recruiters, a 22.4% increase as compared to last year.

The students admitted hold senior positions in leading companies like ICICI Securities, KPMG, Havells, etc.
