A 38-year-old woman and her five children, aged between one and 10 years, died in a fire that broke out at their house in Uttar Pradesh's Kushinagar district, police said on Thursday.

A 30-year-old differently-abled woman and four of her children were killed in a blaze in Kushinagar district of Uttar Pradesh on Wednesday, police said.

A Delhi Police team has taken former Bihar MLA Raju Singh to Kushinagar in Uttar Pradesh to recover the blood-stained clothes of his driver which were allegedly dumped there while they were on the run after a celebratory firing incident in Delhi in which a woman was killed, an official said Sunday.
