Kv Schools Quota

The Education Ministry has scrapped quotas in several categories including that of Members of Parliament and District Magistrates for admissions to Kendriya Vidyalayas, according to the latest circular issued by the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan.

KV Admission: The government has also decided that children orphaned due to COVID-19 will be considered for admission over and above the class strength in Kendriya Vidyalayas (KVs) under PM CARES for Children Scheme.

KVS Admission 2022: As per the special provision, the MPs can recommend 10 children for admission between classes 1 to 9. Apart from the MP/ DM quota, there are 15- 16 other special provisions through which admissions can be made
