Three Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists have been sentenced to death by a court in North 24 Parganas district of West Bengal in a case of waging war against the government.

Senior IPS officer Satish Verma, who had approached the Gujarat High Court against a state government order asking him to vacate his alloted flat, on Friday withdrew his application and decided to knock the doors of Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT).

A special court today sent Bahadur Ali alias 'Saifullah', a Pakistani national allegedly working for terror outfit Lashkar-e-Taiba, to custody of National Investigation Agency or NIA till August 11 after the agency said his custodial interrogation was required to unearth the larger conspiracy.
