Lalu Yadav Cbi Questioning

Former Bihar Chief Minister Rabri Devi on Thursday appeared before the Enforcement Directorate (ED) here for questioning in a money laundering case linked to the alleged land-for-jobs scam, official sources said.

After skipping the summons thrice,Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav today told the Delhi High Court that he will appear before the CBI for questioning in the land-for-jobs caseon March 25.

The summon comes just days after the probe agency questioned his parents, former Bihar Chief Ministers Lalu Prasad Yadav and Rabri Devi.

After around six hours of CBI questioning with former Bihar Chief Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav in the land-for-jobs scam, Holi wishes were exchanged between the agency officials and RJD supremo.

The BJP on Tuesday hit out at the JD(U) and the RJD over the CBI questioning of former Bihar chief minister Lalu Prasad Yadav, saying if there are corruption charges why should not they be investigated.

"Lalu Yadav has kidney transplanted recently and it is necessary to maintain sufficient distance and wear mask because Lalu Yadav is at risk of infection and allergy," sources told ANI.

As CBI officials questioned Lalu Prasad Yadav in a corruption case today, his daughter said the ailing Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) patriarch was being "constantly harassed" and warned that she will "not spare anyone" if something happened to him.

Notably, eight Opposition parties had just two days back shot off a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, alleging misuse of central agencies for the BJP's political motives.

"If you fight with the BJP, if you question the BJP, if you show them the mirror, these things will happen. What's new?" Tejashwi Yadav told reporters.
