Late Term Abortion

The Delhi High court on Tuesday permitted the termination of 27-week pregnancy suffering from cardiac abnormality. The High court passed the direction after perusing the report of the AIIMS medical board.

The Supreme Court today allowed a 13-year-old rape survivor to have a late abortion after lawyers said carrying the baby to full term would cause her trauma and agony.
