Left-ruled Kerala's milk federation has written to its Karnataka counterpart, urging it to reconsider its plans to step up sale of homegrown brand Nandini in Kerala.

The Communist Party of India (Marxist) on Monday criticised the Congress' 'Bharat Jodo Yatra', saying spending 18 days in Left-ruled Kerala and just two in BJP-ruled Uttar Pradesh is a "strange way to fight BJP-RSS".

Bengal became the fourth state today to pass a resolution against the contentious Citizenship Amendment Act, with Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee dubbing the BJP "Brand Ambassador of Pakistan". Similar resolutions have already been passed by Left-ruled Kerala and Congress-ruled Punjab and Rajasthan.
