US First Lady Michelle Obama urged girls in Liberia on Monday to fight to stay in school, as she visited the west African country where the vast majority drop out due to financial pressures.

Indian women peacekeepers serving in the UN mission in Liberia have been a source of inspiration for the country's girls, the contingent's commander has said while terming women as "agents of change".
