Tamil Nadu Government To Deny BJP Permission For Vetri Vel Yatra Citing COVID-19

The Tamil Nadu government will deny the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) permission to hold a "Vetri Vel Yatra" (Victorious Spear March), the Madras High Court has been informed. The event, planned from November 6 to December 6, was conceptualised in honour of Lord Muruga whose favourite weapon is the "Vel" or spear.
