Madhya Pradesh Winter Showers

Parts of southwest Madhya Pradesh received the first rain of the winter season on Sunday and the IMD has issued an 'orange' alert, predicting heavy showers, hail, and gusty winds in various parts of the state over the next one day.

Intense cold conditions prevailed in Madhya Pradesh even as light showers hit southern parts of the state including the capital where two persons lost their lives within 24 hours allegedly due to the chill.
