Madras High Court I Periyasamy

The Madras High Court today set aside an order of a special court and overturned the discharge of Tamil Nadu minister I Periyasamy in a corruption case, and directed him to face trial.

Former DMK Minister I Periyasamy, arrested on June 4 on charges of illegal quarrying, filed a bail application on Thursday in the Madras High Court bench in Madurai in connection with the case against him in this regard.
