Maharashtra Women Police Investigation Wing

In a bid to effectively deal with cases of crime against women, the Maharashtra government has decided to come up with a separate woman police investigation wing in all districts, a police official said today.

As many as 44 alleged human traffickers involved in a sex racket were arrested and 39 women, including eight minors, rescued from Maharashtra's Chandrapur by Crime Investigation Department (CID) wing of Telangana police.
