The DNA test of Geeta, the deaf and mute girl who had returned to India, 11 years after inadvertently crossing into Pakistan, did not match with the Mahato family from Bihar, who had claimed she was their first child.

The report of the DNA tests carried out to determine the parentage of 23-year-old Geeta, the deaf and mute girl who returned from Pakistan after being separated from her family over a decade ago, has been submitted to the Ministry of External Affairs.

"This school will not run... we will not allow it," said Rakeshwar Mahato to NDTV in the village in Bihar where 23 children have died after being poisoned by the free lunch at their school. "This is where our children were murdered," he said. He lost two grand-children in the tragedy.
