A Delhi court on Wednesday granted bail to a woman arrested along with her doctor husband April 4 for allegedly locking up their 13-year-old maid in their house with very little food before leaving for a vacation in Thailand last month.

A doctor-couple in Delhi, wanted by the police for allegedly torturing their domestic help, has returned to India according to their lawyer. Sources at the airport also confirm the couple arrived in Delhi on March 30th. But the police insist this is incorrect, and says that airports have been alerted to look out for them.

Delhi Police on Sunday initiated the process of issuing a lookout notice against a doctor couple, who allegedly left their minor maid locked up and starving in the house while they vacationed in Thailand, officials said.

A doctor-couple in Delhi allegedly abused their 13-year-old domestic help, who was rescued by the police this evening. The couple allegedly locked the girl into their home before departing for a six-day trip to Bangkok.
