Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Friday met the family of a sanitation worker who died due to COVID-19 virus and handed over a cheque of Rs 1 Crore as financial assistance to them. The sanitisation worker, Raju, had contradicted the virus while working amid the viral outbreak.

Around 200 people were evacuated today from a gurdwara in north Delhi's Majnu ka Tilla today, the police said. The people had come there over the week-end to take the interstate buses to Punjab but got stranded when they found the buses were not running and had to take shelter in the gurdwara.
