Man Forced To Lick Spit

A village head's representative in Nasirabad area here was allegedly forced to lick his spit by the local police for "creating chaos" during a 'nautanki' programme organised without permission from the authorities, officials said on Sunday.

"Don't spit it out," the officer said when the man gagged, court documents said.

A 75-year-old man was forced to wear a garland of shoes and lick his own spit in a village, police on Friday said.

One man was arrested for allegedly assaulting a youth and making him lick spit in Nalanda district, suspecting that he had stolen a mobile phone, police said Sunday.
