Three jawans of Assam Rifles and one sugarcane juice vendor, a non-local, were injured in a blast near the Manipur Raj Bhawan this evening in Imphal.

At least 25 persons, including police officials, sustained injuries today in a clash between the police and a group of protesters who held a demonstration outside Manipur Bhawan in New Delhi against the three controversial bills passed by the north-east state assembly.

President Pranab Mukherjee will visit the northeastern states in April and May, an official statement from Rashtrapati Bhawan said on Saturday.
