Manmohan Singh To Meet Vladimir Putin

Notwithstanding pledges to take the bilateral relationship to a new level, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh in his first meeting with new Chinese President Xi Jinping has sought a joint mechanism to assess the construction work on dams on Brahmaputra river in Tibet.

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh will go on a three-day visit to Moscow from Dec 15-17 for a summit meeting with Russian President Dmitry Medvedev. He will also meet with Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin.
