Four persons were killed in a fight between two Maoist groups in Jharkhand's Khuti district today, police said.

The Andhra Pradesh Police on Tuesday arrested 11 members of the banned Communist Party of India (Marxist-Leninist) Janashakti faction in Kurnool district. Among those arrested is top Janashakti leader, Korra Rajanna.

Ten Maoists were killed in a gunbattle with a rival faction in Jharkhand's Chatra district yesterday evening, police said.

The abduction comes 10 days after the Maoists took two Italians hostage from Kandhamal district. Sources have told NDTV that factional rivalry between Maoists is likely the reason behind the MLA's abduction.
