Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati will launch her election campaign for the 2012 Assembly elections today. The state government is expected to announce three new districts to be carved out of Muzaffarnagar, Ghaziabad and Moradabad. Shamli, Hapur and Sambhal also may get district status.
