Meghalaya To Shut All Entry Points From July 23-31 As Coronavirus Cases Spike

All entry points of Meghalaya located at Byrnihat, Ratacherra, Bajengdoba, Tikrikilla, Mirjumla and Hallidayganj will be closed from midnight of July 23 to midnight of July 31, an order issued by the Chief Secretary of the state said.

Four miners were killed inside an illegal coal mine in Nagaland on Sunday. The mine is in a remote village close to the border with Assam. The incident comes over two months after at least 15 miners were trapped in an illegal coal mine in Meghalaya.
