Mercedes-AMG C 63 S claims to deliver impressive performance from a compact 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine, thanks to advanced F1 technology

The 2018 Mercedes-Benz C-Class range is coming to India this fiscal year and the carmaker will also be offering the Coupe version this time around. Now, Mercedes-Benz has confirmed that it will be offering the 2018 C-Class Coupe in India in multiple engine options, namely - the C300, AMG C 43, and possibly the AMG C 63 as well.

Mercedes-Benz has unveiled the long-awaited AMG C 63 S Coupe. The car is making its global debut at the New York Auto Show 2018 and it comes in two trim options - standard and 'S'. The car gets the AMG GT family's panamericana grille, considerable cosmetic updates, and a 4.0-litre bi-turbo engine.

An endeavour to familiarize the 'AMG 43' nomenclature among Indian customers, the Mercedes-AMG C 43 4MATIC sedan will be the third AMG product in India this year.

We drive the Mercedes-AMG C63 S Cabriolet in Trieste, Italy. It gets a massive 4.0-litre V8 Biturbo engine that produces 503bhp and 700Nm. The 0-100kmph comes up in a mere 4.1 seconds while the top speed achieved is an electronically limited 250kmph.

Mercedes-Benz will be launching the AMG C 63 S in India on September 3. This will be the 10th AMG model from the company in India. The performance oriented C-Class will be the 11th car to be launched this year among the 15 promised.
