Migrants Washed Ashore

A rubber boat washed up on a beach in Israel on Sunday with no one on board, only what appeared to be the belongings of would-be migrants.

The Libyan Red Crescent said the bodies of four children aged between five and 10 had washed ashore west of the capital Tripoli on Wednesday after a migrant boat sank.

Five more bodies believed to be those of illegal Indonesian migrants were found in Malaysia on Wednesday following a boat tragedy, raising the death toll to 18, police said.
