Mla Abuses Toll Plaza Staff

A woman MLA of the ruling Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) has landed in a controversy after a video purportedly showing her abusing the staff of a toll plaza went viral.

Shiv Sena leader Anil Kadam, who was caught on camera hurling abuses at an all-women plaza in Maharashtra, has been booked for molestation among other offences. Mr Kadam, a legislator from Niphad in Maharashtra's Nashik district, resigned yesterday from the state assembly.

A Gujarat MP had earned notoriety some time ago when he was caught on camera brandishing a gun at a toll booth attendant angry, that he was asked to pay. Clearly, he was not an exception. In neighbouring Maharashtra, the supporters of two MLAs have allegedly vandalised toll booths and abused attendants because the politicians were asked to pay.
