Mumbai Metro One that operates the metro service on the Versova-Andheri-Ghatkopar line has launched an e-ticket on WhatsApp facility. This is an extension to the already available Paper QR Ticket.

The Bombay High Court today restrained the Reliance Infrastructure-led Mumbai Metro One Private Limited (MMOPL) from hiking the fares on the Mumbai Metro's Versova-Ghatkopar route.

In Google Maps, users can tap the Metro Services Option which opens a departure board displaying the schedules of the next few Metro services.

Mumbai Metro One (MMOPL), which is operating the Versona-Andheri-Ghatkopar corridor, on Friday said it will increase the fares by Rs 5 from December 1.

With the Maharashtra government yet to reach a consensus over Versova-Andheri-Ghatkopar Metro Rail fare, Mumbai Metro One Private Limited (MMOPL), which is operating the corridor, today said it will continue to charge the current fare of Rs 10 to Rs 40 till November 30.

In a major relief to lakhs of commuters, the Mumbai Metro One Pvt. Ltd. has decided to freeze the existing fare structure till October 31, though the Fare Fixation Committee has permitted a fare in the band of Rs 10-110, an official said on Monday.

In what will be temporary relief for Mumbaikars, commuters on the 11.04 km Versova-Andheri-Ghatkopar (VAG) metro line one will have to shell out Rs 10-20 till July 31 instead of the Rs 10-40 that was initially announced by Mumbai Metro One Private Limited (MMOPL).

To woo people to commute in the city's first Metro during off-peak hours in morning, its operator MMOPL has decided to offer a promotional fare of Rs five between any two stations on the stretch on a trial basis.
