Enraged by the death of a terrorist who targeted a former sarpanch in Jammu and Kashmir's Shopian yesterday, a frenzied mob set the family's house on fire this afternoon. Mohammad Ramzan Sheikh's family had offered resistance to the terrorists and during the scuffle, a gun went off and a terrorist was killed.

A young, unarmed jawan of the Border Security Force was dragged out of his north Kashmir house and shot dead by terrorists on Wednesday evening when he and his family resisted the attempt to kidnap him. The terrorists also opened fire at his family too, injuring four of them including an aunt. Constable Mohammad Ramzan Parray, 31, died on the spot.
