Senior lawyer Ujjwal Nikam has withdrawn as special public prosecutor in the 2014 Mohsin Sheikh murder case in which members of the Hindu Rashtra Sena (HRS) are accused. The Maharashtra government last month cancelled the appointment of Mr Nikam following a request from him, sources said.
