Babulal Gaur, Ex-Chief Minister, Worked His Way Up From Jana Sangh Days

Babulal Gaur, former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister and a senior BJP leader, died at a hospital in Bhopal on Wednesday. The 89-year-old had been in hospital since August 7, when his blood pressure dropped. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh were among leaders who paid tribute to the veteran.

Nearly 2 Lakh Court Cases Withdrawn by Madhya Pradesh Government

In order to reduce the burden on courts in Madhya Pradesh, the Shivraj Singh Chouhan government today has decided to withdraw nearly two lakh cases registered under different sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) over the past 10 years.
