Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan visited hospitals in Kanpur city and announced financial assistance to the kin of the deceased and those injured in the derailment of Indore-Patna Express, state minister Narottam Mishra informed.

It has been over two days of since the train tragedy in Madhya Pradesh's Harda and the focus has now shifted to restoration of the railway line. The derailment of two trains on Tuesday night within minutes of each other claimed 28 lives, of whom, six were from one family - the Batheras of Narsinghpur.
