A British man is so annoyed with potholes that he's filling them with pot noodles to get them fixed.

BJP MP Gautam Gambhir today tweeted an improvised cover of Geeta Dutt's 1954 super hit song "Babuji Dheere Chalna" in a dig at Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal as the Aam Aadmi Party chief launched a programme to get rid of potholes from Delhi's roads.

Roads in the United States, often considered the gold standard in India, aren't good enough for Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan. On a visit to the US to attract investors to the state, Mr Chouhan has told a meeting that he felt the roads back home in Madhya Pradesh were a lot better than those in the US.

Tuakram Fadtare, an Assistant Sub Inspector of Police, was returning home after finishing night duty on Tuesday morning, when his motorcycle hit an uneven stretch of road and skid. Mr Fadtare lost control of the motorcycle, fell, and was run over by a truck which was coming from behind him. He died on the spot.
