Shares of leading tyremaker MRF Ltd spurted more than 1 percent to hit its all-time high and became the first Indian stock to cross Rs 1 lakh per share mark on Tuesday.

The shares of the company have been divided from one existing equity share with face value of Rs 10 each into ten equity shares of face value of Rs 1 each.

Meanwhile, in a separate filing the company informed BSE that its Board has decided to change the financial year of the company from "October-September" to "April-March" and for that it is extending the current fiscal for six months.
