A day after quitting BJP on being denied the party ticket to contest May 10 Assembly polls in Karnataka, Mudigere MLA MP Kumaraswamy on Friday joined JD(S).

A ruling BJP MLA today threatened to resign from the assembly saying he has been marginalised in the party. M P Kumaraswamy, who represents Mudigere (SC) seat in Chikmagalur, told reporters here that he had decided to quit as MLA as he was upset that despite him taking up the issue, the leadership had not addressed his grievances.
