Arunachal Chief Minister Pema Khandu, who is seeking a re-election from Mukto Assembly seat for the third consecutive term, is the richest among 184 candidates contesting the state polls, with assets worth more than Rs 163 crore, according to an election watchdog report.

Pema Khandu New Congress Legislature Party Leader After Nabam Tuki Resigns

37-year-old Pema Khandu, a former minister of tourism and water resources, is a legislator from Mukto (ST) constituency. A graduate from Hindu College, Delhi, Mr Pema became a secretary of the Arunachal Pradesh Congress committee in 2005 and the president of the district Congress committee in Tawang in 2010.
