Mumbai Custom Recovers Cocaine

The Mumbai Customs department has arrested a passenger from Ghana at the international airport here for trying to smuggle cocaine into India by hiding it in 87 capsules which he had swallowed.

The Customs department has recovered 500 grams of cocaine worth Rs 5 crore from a woman passenger, who arrived at the Mumbai International Airport from Ethiopia, following which she was arrested, officials said.
