The 14th edition of the Mumbai Marathon kicked off from Mumbai's Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus this morning. Over 42,000 Marathoners from different corners of the world are taking part in the event that features full marathon for amateurs in which participants will cover a distance of 42-kms, and half marathoners 21-kms.

Ashok Patil, a tea vendor at Mumbai's Crawford Market area had a special visitor to his stall yesterday. A visitor called Jean-Benoit Jaouen who also participated in the Mumbai Marathon last January albeit in different categories. Frenchman Jaouen presented Patil Rs 9000 - half his prize money earnings.
