Interpol Notice Months After Boat That Set Off From Kerala Went Missing

Six months after a fishing boat carrying more than 100 people set off from the Munambam port in Kerala's rural Ernakulam, a blue corner notice has been issued by the Interpol against the people on the boat. The Kerala Police had requested for the notice to be issued against them.

A Maldivian vessel, being towed to a breaking yard at Azhikkal port in Kannur, sank off Kochi and efforts are on to clear the wreckage from near the coast. The 70-metre-long vessel, M V Sea Angel, was being taken to Kannur for being dismantled as scrap, when she sank off Kochi waters on July one, a Naval press release said today.
