Munde Passes Away

The Tamil Nadu state Assembly today paid homage to late BJP leader Gopinath Munde and some former MLAs who passed away during the inter-session period.

Dr Adarsh Kumar, who was part of the panel of forensic experts that conducted the autopsy on the minister, explained that fracture to the first and second cervical vertebrae caused damage to the brain stem, which in turn caused him to go into cardiac arrest.

Sports Minister Sarbananda Sonowal has expressed extreme shock and grief at the sudden demise of Cabinet colleague and Rural Development Minister Gopinath Munde, who passed away here after suffering a cardiac arrest during a road accident early this morning.
