The Delhi High Court today dismissed a plea challenging the Centre's alleged failure to consider an Assamese film for screening at the 59th National Film Festival among regional category movies.

The Delhi High Court asked for reasons from the Centre for rejecting the movie Ekhon Nedekha Nadir Xipaare, as non-Assamese at National Award.
