Naga Heritage Village

The picturesque Naga Heritage Village at Kisama, the main venue for Nagaland's iconic Hornbill festival, wore a deserted look today as the government cancelled the day's events in solidarity with the killing of civilians in Mon district.

The "Hornbill Festival", which was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on December 1, concluded this evening with 17 Naga tribes performing the 'Unity Dance' at the picturesque Naga Heritage village, Kisama some 12 km from the state capital.
