Centre Announces Rs 3,048 Crore Flood Relief Fund For Kerala

Kerala, which was hit by massive floods in August, will be given Rs 3,048 crore as an additional assistance from the National Disaster Response Fund (NDRF), officials said. Besides, Rs. 539 crore will be given to cyclone-hit Andhra Pradesh and Rs. 131 crore to Nagaland, which was also hit by floods.

Flood-Hit Nagaland Yet To Receive Relief From Centre

Flood-hit Nagaland is yet to receive any relief from the Centre or other state governments, the Assembly was informed on Tuesday. Donations received from individuals and NGOs under the Chief Minister's Relief Fund stand at Rs 4.69 crore, Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio said.
