Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio on Tuesday met Union Home Minister Amit Shah and discussed with him various issues concerning the state, that include the ongoing Naga peace process.

A delegation of legislators from Nagaland will reach Delhi today to meet Union ministers and leaders of different political parties prodding them on the Nagaland peace accord, seeking a solution the vexed political issue soon.

Acknowledging the role of previous governments in the peace process in Nagaland, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday hoped that the successful talks with the NSCN-IM will pave the way for development in the entire northeast.
