Nashik Minor Attempted Rape

Curfew continued today in 7 villages of Igatpuri and Trimbakeshwar tehsils in Nashik after incidents of group clashes and stone pelting in the wake of the alleged rape attempt of a minor girl, while Internet services resumed after five days of being suspended, police said.

A day after violent protests at several places in Nashik against the alleged rape attempt by a teenage boy on a five-year-old girl at Trimbakeshwar, the situation in the district was under control as no untoward incident was reported today, police said.
