NATO still hopes to reopen transport supply routes to Afghanistan through neighbouring Pakistan despite securing new transit deals with three Central Asian states, NATO Secretary-General Anders Fogh Rasmussen said on Wednesday.

Pakistan has reportedly demanded $1800 to $2000 as the fee for every NATO container truck and tanker during negotiations with the US for reopening supply routes for foreign troops in Afghanistan.
