At least 38 Indian nationals, including women and children, working as bonded labourers in a brick factory have been rescued by the Nepalese authorities from the country's Rautahat area, police said on Friday.

At least five Indians are among seven people killed when a 105-foot high chimney at a brick factory collapsed in eastern Nepal following an explosion. The incident took place yesterday at New Jaya Nepal Brick Factory in Nepal's Itahari city, police said.
